Phoenix Fire Department Selected to Host 2012 Metro Chiefs Conference

The Phoenix Fire Department has been selected to host the Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Conference in Phoenix in 2012.
The conference brings together fire chiefs from large metropolitan fire departments to share information on issues of common interest. The Metropolitan Fire Chiefs’ vision is to provide exemplary leadership while focusing on continually improving fire, emergency medical service, and Homeland Security initiatives to effectively protect the communities of their respective nations.
“We are tremendously honored to host the conference in 2012,” says Phoenix Fire Chief Bob Khan. “We will continue to work hard to enhance our role in the fire service and to serve the citizens of Phoenix.”
The Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association is a joint section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
